Default Hells Precipice Changes Please!

Go to Hells, the final mission in the game. Theoretically, it should be the hardest. It isn't. That brings me to Point #1:
MAKE IT HARDER!
Currently, any idiot with a couple of monks and winter can do the mission and bonus on this mission easily. Just take winter and henchmen and you can beat it. That doesn't seem to befit the hardest mission on the game, with new and "superpowerful" monsters that even the Mursaat are afraid of.
Point #2:
The elites. If you take a look at HP, these are the currently obtainable elites:
Warrior- Hundred Blades, Eviscerate
Ranger- Greater Conflagoration
Necromancer: Aura of the Lich
Mesmer: Panic
Elementalist: Mind Burn

Now what can we conclude from this? First of all, 3, arguably 4, of the professions, have good elites here. Hundred Blades, Eviscerate, Aura of the Lich, Mind Burn, and in some cases, Panic, are all very good skills. Some would argue about Hundred Blades, but either way warriors have a good skill here.
Now lets look at the Ranger and Monk. Greater Conflagoration is a decent skill, but certainly not final-mission-elite quality. I could imagine a better fire oriented elite could be replaced here.
Meanwhile, the Monk is totally stiffed! No way, crazy, but true. I realize there is in fact no monk boss on this mission, but stiffing the monks is not the answer.

Thanks for reading,
Rafe

While I do agree that the mission can be pretty easy if you have Winter and competent monks.. I do disagree with you that Greater Conflagoration is only a "decent" skill. Coupled with Winter, you can dominate the remaining Titans in Hells Precipe. Since Winter changes ALL elemental damage to Cold, it, in conjunction with Greater Conflag, makes all damage Cold, which doubles the damage done to the fire based Titans.

If you're doing the titan quest in the shiverpeaks, just don't bring winter, same with the krytan titans. I havn't done the other titan quests yet, but I can only assume that these skills are still useful.

I do think they need to make it harder---but only if they give it a better ending. Who the hell wants go through more trouble for a crappy ending?

It's easy as hell as it is now though, I've never even beat it with a group that had winter or anything like that, we just go in with whatever we have and never have any problems with it. Make it harder---sure. Improve the ending---double sure.

I don't think it needs to be changed. If you look at how many people complain about how hard Thunderhead Keep is on these forums, just picture doing a mission like that that's three times as long. I definitely wouldn't want to spend an hour and a half doing the mission and lose near the end many times over again.

Isnt that actually better for the monks that they dont need to go through hells to get an elite? i see it as more of an advantage than getting stiffed.

I don't appreciate it personally.
And this doesn't need to be *as* hard as THK, but I mean, its really really easy as is.

If anything, they should make earlier missions like The Wilds as hard as they were back in beta. This way you would get less clueless people in later on missions, making it harder for the decent players.

Of course there is always the problem of runs though..
